Mansfield Ski Lodge (MSL) Terms and Conditions for Guest Bookings last updated 30-Apr-2023 (Terms)
1 Application of Terms
1.1 These terms apply to all guests visiting or staying at MSL. By making a booking at the Mansfield Ski Lodge you are deemed to have accepted these terms and conditions.
1.2 These terms apply to all MSL accommodation bookings made through all channels including online, phone, email and in person.
1.3 (NEW) The previous “Supplementary Terms and Conditions – COVID-19” from season 2022 no longer apply.
2 Bookings and payment
2.1 All reservations (made online, via email or over the phone) are not confirmed unless paid in full or a valid payment card with sufficient balance is registered.
2.2 Guests or the lead guests making the booking (here forth known collectively as guests) must supply complete and accurate contact, credit card and personal information for their booking. This includes a valid email address and phone number.
2.3 Room bookings with incorrect or incomplete personal details will be deemed invalid and will be cancelled.
2.4 Valid identification (such as drivers licence or student ID card) must be presented upon request at check-in.
2.5 Guests (or the individual making the booking) will be sent a payment request to the email address they supplied when booking.
2.6 Credit cards will be typically charged within 48-72 hours of the booking being made. If the credit card cannot be processed at the time the credit card is charged, the booking will be cancelled. 100% of the invoiced amount (including GST) must be paid within 72 hours of any payment request being sent. Bookings not paid in this period will be cancelled. See clause 3.3 for cancellation in the event of partial payments.
2.7 MSL reserves the right to refuse or cancel any bookings for any reason. Where MSL has cancelled a booking at its discretion and the guests have complied with these terms and conditions, a refund for any amount paid up to the amount of the cancelled portion of the booking will be issued, provided the booking has not commenced or the guest has not checked-in.
2.8 All guests must be 4 years of age or older except during an officially designated “infant period” or where a written request has been received and approved by Mansfield Ski Lodge’s booking officer. Information regarding designated “infant periods” can be found on www.mansfieldskilodge.com.au or by contacting our booking department.
2.9 Notwithstanding the exceptions noted in clause 2.8, guests attempting to check into the lodge with any persons under the age of four will be in breach of these terms and will be denied entry and any monies paid will be forfeited.
2.10 All guests using lodge facilities or staying overnight must be named and included in the total number of guests on the booking form. Any additional guests may only be accommodated if there is a bed/s available and approval is granted by MSL management. An additional person(s) charge will apply. Violation of this clause may result in management asking the guests to leave the property without compensation. Any monies paid will be forfeited.
2.11 Maximum lodge occupancy is 26 guests. In the unlikely event that a booking causes occupancy to exceed the maximum number permitted, the booking may be amended or cancelled and the guest/s will be notified accordingly.
